Credit Card Processing for Business
Does Your Business Accept Credit Cards?
If not you may be missing out on possible customers and sales everyday. A recent survey of middle class Americans determined that over 80% percent of people use their credit card for almost every major purchase they make.
If your business is not setup to accept this form of payment you are severely limiting your profitability. This is where Online Check comes into the picture.
OnlineCheck is a merchant service company that will get your business setup to accept credit cards so you don’t continue to surrender customers to the large retail stores out there.
Their program is good for small businesses because there are no hidden fees, or contracts. Plus they provide you with everything you need to accept credit card payments immediately.
For any small business owner looking to expand I think OnlineCheck is a great merchant service option for all your credit card payment needs.
What are Critical Aspects of Business? Credit Cards
Make It Easy for People to Make It Easy for You to Do Business!
What is a critical aspect of business? Something you cannot do with out? Something your customer cannot do without? What if we agree that it meets both those criteria’s?
So what is a business need or service that meets those qualifications? Well the most important one that comes to mind for me is what types of payment a business accepts.
Think about it. How many times you have been on a website and decided not to buy something because the site made the payment process a royal pain?
This is counter intuitive to business. Remember the saying “Don’t make me think!” This does not pertain to the business owner. It pertains to the customer.
Look at all the businesses out there that now accept credit cards as a form of payment. It’s crucial for business success that all businesses are setup to do this.
It doesn’t require the customer to do anything more than swipe a card. I recall one time at a Sub place where a manager of all people, gave me grief about paying by credit card because they were not setup with an up to date credit card system. I simply told him, “hey, the 15 year olds at McDonalds can do it” and walked out to get my lunch elsewhere.
It is not the customer’s job accommodate the business. It is the businesses job to accommodate the customer. Look at the example above for just how easy it is to put someone off by trying to tell them how they should do business. You are risking a loss you cannot afford.
Sites like Online Check make it very easy for small businesses to get setup for credit card payments which will give you an advantage over competitors who still only accept PayPal.
I don’t think people realize just how easy it has become to get setup to run credit cards. This works out to my advantage because a lot of my competitor’s customers come to me when they can’t figure out how to buy something off another site.
Remember to always keep it easy, because your customer will come back to you to avoid the headaches they have dealt with elsewhere.
