Kubuntu Linux Successfully Installed
Coming to You Live from Kubuntu Linux!
Well it has been another very busy day for me. I am hoping that next week will be better because I have finished up most of the side jobs I had scheduled this week. Hopefully this weekend I can get things back on track and get some more articles posted on the blog!
I just wanted to give everyone an update that the Kubuntu Linux install went perfect and I am currently writing this post in Open Office. I wasn’t able to post until late tonight because it took me awhile to get the hang of things with the new OS.
I recorded the installation and will be trying to post a video tomorrow for people who are keeping up with my switch to Linux. I need to edit the video down because the installation took about 45 minutes, but it outlines just how easy it was to install and configure the new OS.
I will also be posting some follow-up articles and videos about doing basic things in Kubuntu. As I mentioned before this is more of a guide for people who are not familiar at all with Linux. If you already have experience with it, you probably won’t find the guides terribly interesting. But I think they will be a valuable resource for those who are considering the switch but have been nervous to do so.
