Final Fantasy the Love / Hate Relationship

It was the Best of Times, It was the Worst of Times
What can I say about Final Fantasy that hasn’t already been said? Aside from the fact that it is one of my favorite games and yet one of my most loathed games at the same time.
The thing that drives me nuts about the game is the amount of time involved in acquiring enough secret items and skills to survive the series of 10+ consecutive boss battles that seem to always end the series.
It makes me wonder how people who are not die hard Final Fantasy fans are supposed to know to get the Lion Heart, or Knights of the Round, to inflict enough damage to stand a chance of making it through some of the last battles.
It is a great series of games there will always be this level of frustration tied to it and the way the game is structured.
