Though they fell to infighting and were imprisoned, the Blood Storm’s creeping influence persisted through the ages, finally bearing fruit when a prince of the Mathosians did the will of Regulos, greatest of the reaver-gods.
The Ascended themselves are transplants from history, legends reborn to free Telara from the influence of the Blood Storm and the monsters of the planes.
